Situation: In 2021, Sensor Tower management sought to raise the profile of the firm using media appearances and interviews. We were brought in by our long-time friend, Anthony Bartolacci, SVP of Sales for Financial Institutions at Sensor Tower, to help achieve this goal.
Process: Immediately upon engaging Sensor Tower, the team at Kent Place Communications (KPC) hit the ground running. We media trained Anthony and prepared him for broadcast interviews, while simultaneously creating a one-pager “pitch sheet” on the firm for use with media outlets. We worked side by side with Sensor Tower’s internal team including senior insights analysts Dennis Yeh, Abe Yousef and Stephanie Chan, to pitch Sensor Tower’s unparalleled insights into mobile apps including Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, Roblox, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, Zoom, Zynga, and others.
Outcome: Since the start of our relationship 21 months ago, Anthony has completed 18 broadcast TV appearances across CNBC (USA, Europe and Asia), Cheddar TV and the TD Ameritrade Network. We secured a full company profile with a senior Forbes journalist who wrote that Sensor Tower “was building the “Nielsen” for the App World.” We have arranged for several interviews and quotes of Sensor Tower team members and data citations in publications including Axios, Dow Jones Marketwatch, Forbes, Fortune, Investor’s Business Daily, the New York Times, Seeking Alpha, the Wall Street Journal, and others.
